瑞倍適屬於處方藥，需經醫師專業評估與開立處方後方可取得。瑞倍適是糖尿病患的適應症藥物，屬於需要開立醫囑的『處方用藥』，而且必須是由政府『糖尿病照護網』認定的特殊診所才能販售，因此一般的診所或是藥局、藥妝通路是無法隨便買到的。Ozempic（胰妥讚）每月費用約6,600至10,000元；Wegovy 週纖達為自費減重藥物，未納入健保給付，每支價格約 NT$8,000–8,800，於 2025 年 4 月正式在台灣上市。

Semaglutide（如Ozempic）給付限用於：第二型糖尿病患者接受最大耐受劑量之metformin及/或sulfonylurea類藥品治療，且併用以下藥品之一連續使用6個月以上仍HbA1c大於8.5%者：SGLT-2抑制劑、DPP-4抑制劑、SGLT-2抑制劑與DPP-4抑制劑複方藥品、或Insulin。曾發生重大心血管事件（如心肌梗塞、冠狀動脈或其他動脈血管重建術、動脈粥狀硬化相關之缺血性中風）之第二型糖尿病患者，接受最大耐受劑量metformin後仍未達理想血糖控制者，可考慮使用liraglutide、dulaglutide或semaglutide。Wegovy（週纖達）為自費減重適應症，不在健保給付範圍。

胰妥讚 (semaglutide) 可降低主要心血管風險 26%，包括心血管疾病死亡、非致命性心肌梗塞與非致命性中風。對於已有心血管疾病的第二型糖尿病患者，胰妥讚可降低主要不良心血管事件 (MACE) 的風險。
