Dietary Aloe Vera Supplementation Improves Facial Wrinkles and Elasticity and It Increases the Type I Procollagen Gene Expression in Human Skin in vivo
Finding: Facial wrinkles improved significantly (p<0.05) in both dose groups; elasticity improved in the low-dose group; Type I procollagen mRNA rose (low-dose 4.74-fold, high-dose 1.75-fold) and high-dose reduced MMP-1 (0.51-fold).
