The Efficacy and Safety of Probiotics for Allergic Rhinitis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Finding: Probiotics (mixed strains) gave a small significant reduction in TNSS (SMD -0.29, 95% CI -0.44 to -0.13, p=0.0003, I2=89%) and improved RQLQ (SMD -0.64, 95% CI -0.79 to -0.49, p<0.00001, I2=97%) but had no effect on total IgE (SMD -0.03, 95% CI -0.18 to 0.13, p=0.72).
